1. Preparation before cutting
Before the cutting system is started, a series of preparations need to be carried out to ensure the smooth progress of the cutting process.
Body hardening: The body removed from the mold of the AAC Block Machine needs to be hardened under specific conditions. This step is usually carried out in a curing chamber at 50~70℃, and the time depends on the specific formula and process conditions. The hardened body has a certain strength and stability, which provides a basis for subsequent cutting operations.
Equipment inspection: Before cutting, all components of the cutting system must be fully inspected. This includes motors, control systems, cutting tools, transmission devices, etc., to ensure that all components are in good condition without damage or abnormalities. At the same time, it is also necessary to check whether the walking track of the cutting trolley is flat and free of obstacles to ensure the smooth progress of the cutting process.
Program setting: According to the required block size and shape, the cutting parameters and cutting program are set through the CNC system. These parameters include cutting position, cutting depth, cutting speed, etc., to ensure that the cut blocks meet the design requirements.
2. Workflow of cutting system
Body positioning and transportation
Cutting trolley: The cutting trolley is a key component for conveying the body. It is usually driven by a reduction motor and can move smoothly along a fixed track. Before cutting, the cutting trolley takes the hardened body together with the side plate out of the curing chamber and transports it to the starting position of the cutting line.
Positioning device: In order to ensure the accuracy of cutting, the cutting system is usually equipped with positioning devices. These devices can accurately adjust the position and angle of the body to keep it at an appropriate distance and angle from the cutting tool.
Longitudinal cutting
Longitudinal cutting machine: When the cutting trolley transports the body to the position of the longitudinal cutting machine, the longitudinal cutting machine starts working. It is usually equipped with multiple knives and can cut multiple bodies at the same time. By adjusting the position and depth of the knives, blocks of different sizes can be cut.
Cutting process: During the cutting process, the cutting machine will make precise cuts according to the preset program. After the cutting is completed, the cutting trolley will continue to move forward and transport the cut body to the next process.
Horizontal cutting and waste disposal
Horizontal cutting machine: When the cutting trolley transports the blank to the position of the horizontal cutting machine, the horizontal cutting machine starts working. Similar to the longitudinal cutting machine, the horizontal cutting machine is also equipped with multiple knives and can cut multiple blanks at the same time. By adjusting the position and depth of the knives, blocks of different widths can be cut.
Waste disposal: During the cutting process, some waste (such as cut-off scraps) will be generated. These wastes are usually collected for reuse or disposal. Some advanced AAC block machines are equipped with waste recycling systems that can automatically collect and transport waste to a designated location.
Bottom removal and flipping
Bottom removal device: After cutting, there are usually some excess parts at the bottom of the blank (such as traces left at the bottom of the mold). In order to remove these parts, the cutting system is usually equipped with a bottom removal device. This device can accurately cut off the bottom of the blank to make it flatter.
Flipping device: In order to remove the cut blocks from the cutting trolley and transport them to the next process (such as autoclave curing), the cutting system is usually also equipped with a flipping device. The device can flip the blocks on the cutting trolley so that they can land smoothly on the steaming trolley.
Circular cutting
Cutting trolley return: After completing one cut, the cutting trolley will return to the starting position along the track to prepare for the next cut. The system automatically adjusts the cutting parameters and procedures to meet the production needs of blocks of different sizes.
Circular operation: The entire cutting process is a cyclic operation process. Continuous production can be achieved by continuously conveying the blanks to the cutting line, cutting, bottoming, flipping and transporting.
3. Post-cutting processing and quality control
After the cutting is completed, a series of processing and quality control work is required for the cut blocks. This includes curing, strength testing, size inspection, etc. Through these works, it can be ensured that the produced blocks meet the design requirements and quality standards.
